Who We Are

About

The CSIOC is a non-profit organization dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need within Canada. We operate on the principles of compassion, empathy, and respect for all individuals, believing in the inherent dignity and worth of every person, regardless of their background or circumstances.

Our mission is to foster social integration, advocate for justice, bridge the digital divide, and provide support to the most vulnerable among us. Our initiatives range from facilitating the smooth transition of newcomers to Canada, particularly refugees, to empowering seniors with media technology.

We stand up for the rights of the economically disadvantaged, marginalized, and minority communities, with a current focus on refugees and asylum seekers stranded in South Asian countries under dire and inhumane conditions.

The CSIOC operates thanks to the generosity of our community members, donors, and charitable organizations. Their support allows us to continue providing essential services to those in need.

We invite you to learn more about our work, join us in our mission, and help us create a society that values diversity, equality, and opportunity for all.
